Description
Here’s how Safeceiver works:
An emergency pack with a receiver is placed in each classroom. In case of an emergency, teachers are alerted to turn on their receivers and await further instructions. The receivers are earpieces, so the instructions and updates are delivered only to the teacher — this helps to avoid panicking students or including an intruder in the broadcast.
The emergency packs are completely mobile, so if the teacher needs to take students outside of the building, he or she can take the communication device with them. Additionally, they are battery-powered, so if the electricity goes out due to weather, teachers can still receive information. There is no need to rely on a school’s PA system in emergency situations.
Finally, because the radios are one-way, there is no danger of the communication lines becoming confused with multiple people talking at once. In situations where seconds matter, the SafeCeiver allows administrators to focus on solving the problem immediately at hand, and eliminates the possibility of them being distracted with questions.
The SafeCeiver is available through our online store. For more information, please contact us online or by calling (866) 218-9051. We would be happy to come to your school if you’re within our local area, or do an online presentation and provide a free, no-obligation demonstration of the SafeCeiver.
